Coat salmon with olive oil and completely cover salmon with rub or make a paste using a 4 to 1 rub to olive oil ratio and coat salmon. OVEN-PAN FRY: Prepare salmon as above. Coat pan with butter or olive oil and cook using medium heat. Fold melted rub over salmon. BBQ: Prepare salmon using the paste method. Place salmon skin down on the grill and BBQ with the lid closed. Salmon is done when opaque and will separate from the skin when removing from the grill. CEDAR PLANK: Soak plank for at least 2 hours, prepare salmon as above and cook over medium heat with lid closed. Do not leave unattended.
